Yonatan Mahller, MD, Ph.D., provides expert obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages at Orange County OBGYN in Orange County. Jeremy Chang, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Orange County OBGYN. He is dedicated to providing top-quality women’s health care services to those living in Newport Beach, California, and the surrounding Orange County area.

Dr. Chang was born and raised in Southern California. He studied physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and obtained his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Chang then came back to UCLA to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology.

Catalin Marinescu, MD, FACOG, specializes in pelvic surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures at OBGYN CARE in Newport Beach and Irvine, California. Shelly R. Coe, MD, MSc, NCMP, is a UCLA-trained gynecologist and a certified menopause practitioner in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Coe takes an evidence-based approach to care, focusing on her patients’ physical and social wellbeing. She’s passionate about building trust, and partners with patients on their journey to meet their health and wellness goals. She provides expert care to women of all ages, including teens.  

Education

Dr. Coe received her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. She remained at the UCLA Medical Center to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was certified as a menopause practitioner by the North American Menopause Society in 2012. To further her education, Dr. Coe recently received her Master of Science in health policy from City, University of London in the UK, and has a dedicated interest in health care reform and public policy.

 

Personal

Dr. Coe was born and raised in Orange County, California until the age of 12 when she moved with her family to Montana. After graduating high school, she returned to Southern California where she–a first-generation college student–worked full-time to fund her education in the pursuit of becoming a physician. She has always been an avid athlete, paddling for 10 years on the Dana Point outrigger canoe team throughout her undergraduate education and running, swimming, and biking throughout medical school and residency. After finally mastering her chosen field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she worked in private practice in Newport Beach, CA until her second child was born, after which she reduced her practice to surgery assisting in order to spend more time with her family. When her mother suffered a permanent spinal cord injury from a horse accident, she put her career on hold and moved to Montana to be near her parents. She raised her children between Whitefish, Montana and London, England. This time spent collecting adventures and memories with her children is priceless to her. With both children now in college, she was able to return to private practice in Newport Beach, CA to re-engage with her life-long passion and commitment to collaborating with women to meet their healthcare goals and live empowered lives. She has worked tirelessly towards her re-entry process and developing her private practice goals. She has survived many expected and unexpected transitions in life and overcoming these challenges has inspired her to be a brave advocate for empowering women to take charge of the factors that influence their health and overall wellness. She remains a devoted mom.

When she’s not improving her patients’ health, Dr. Coe channels her creative energy and desire to work with her hands into gardening, cooking, and drawing–she even started college as an art major! She would call herself a “foodie”, loves to perfect recipes, and enjoys learning about new cultures through food. She is also a health and fitness enthusiast and enjoys active travel with her friends and family, including biking, hiking, and skiing.

Hello! I am Nidhee Sachdev, MD, a double board-certified and fellowship-trained reproductive endocrinologist and infertility expert.

I have had the opportunity to train at some of the most prestigious and diverse medical programs in the country, including fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the New York University (NYU) Langone Fertility Center in New York City, where I conducted research on preimplantation genetic screening (PGS). I also trained at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where I earned the academic distinction of academic chief resident in obstetrics and gynecology, and worked under a top expert in recurrent pregnancy loss.

I am passionate about providing individualized, collaborative patient care. I started my medical career here in Orange County, where I earned my Doctor of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. I also completed my Bachelor of Science in human biology at the University of California, San Diego.

My research has been published in numerous respected publications, and I have received multiple teaching awards. I have also presented my research across the country. I am board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

After traveling across the country in recent years, I am thrilled to be back in Southern California, advocating for reproductive health and successful family building journeys for my patients. Dr. Rey completed his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. He performed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a part of the Allegheny Health Network. He also received honors in Obstetrical Ultrasound in 2008. Dr. Rey is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

A native of Kashmir, Dr. Qadri cherished a dream of being a physician and surgeon like her father. As the valedictorian from her high school, she applied to medical school and won a full scholarship to one of the most prestigious medical schools in India, Government Medical College.

Dr. Qadri did her residency at Beaumont Health – Dearborn, one of the leading health care systems in the state of Michigan. She won multiple awards in residency including the SMFM (Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine) award for excellence in Obstetric care, the SASGOG (Society of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology) award, best Intern in her class, and multiple
CREOG achievement awards. She was also active in scholarly activities during her residency and led various initiatives for system-wide changes in the hospital. Her work was accepted in leading scientific journals and multiple research forums across the country including ACOG annual district and national meeting.

Dr. Qadri is a certified Da Vinci robotic surgeon in addition to being highly trained in all forms of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (including vaginal reconstructive surgery) and looks forward to using her skills for the betterment of her patients.

Dr. Qadri is multi-lingual and speaks Kashmiri, Urdu, Hindi, and English. She is proud of her diverse background and looks forward to working for the natives of the Inland empire.

Janet Vadaparampil, MD, is committed to providing exceptional obstetrics and gynecological services. Dr. Vadaparampil, also known as Dr. Vada, completed her medical degree through the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. She performed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City.

With an extensive background in women’s health, Raffi Chalian, MD, FACOG, is a highly regarded and trusted OB/GYN. He welcomes new and existing patients to his private practice Raffi Chalian, M.D. in Glendale, California.

He’s known for providing patient-centric care, where each decision is made in conjunction with the individual patient after discussions about various treatment plans. Dr. Marsh completed her undergraduate degree in Reproductive Health at the University of California, Berkeley. She earned a master’s degree in science studying Global Medicine at the University of Southern California and her medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She later trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center followed by subspecialty training in gynecologic oncology (chemotherapy, gynecologic cancer, and risk-reducing surgery) at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Marsh is passionate about identifying patients at risk for hereditary cancer. Her innovative work has been presented at multiple national conferences and published in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Marsh is skilled in complex open and minimally invasive (robotic and conventional laparoscopic) surgery.
