Nedra Rice, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN at Contemporary Women’s Care in Plano, Texas. Dr. Rice is passionate about women’s health issues and places significant value on patient education. Laura Hutcherson (née Kenyon), MD, is from Plano and attended The University of Texas at Austin, receiving her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering with honors and a minor in American Sign Language. Dr. Hutcherson completed her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School with a distinction in research. Her clinical research involved designing and implementing a clinical trial to reduce post-operative pain after total laparoscopic hysterectomy with ice application. She is also a proud recipient of the Annelle M. Ahmed, MD Women’s Health Care Award, given to medical students exemplifying the esteemed clinician, Dr. Ahmed. Dr. Hutcherson continued her medical training at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/Parkland Hospital, where she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency. Throughout her educational career, she has persistently mentored fellow peers and cared for the underserved through volunteering and mission trips.   

Dr. Hutcherson joined OBGYN North Dallas in September 2025 while returning to her hometown of Plano.  She is drawn to obstetrics because it touches on one of the most personal and universal seasons of a woman’s life. She also has a particular interest in gynecologic surgery and surgical innovation, given her background as an engineer. 

Ultimately, Dr. Hutcherson aims to be an advocate, confidante, and resource for each of her patients. She provides a wide range of services for women of all ages, including routine obstetrics/gynecologic care. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spoiling her cockapoo, playing amateur pickleball, singing karaoke, and planning her next beach vacation. Dr. Hutcherson is happily married to a fellow engineer and is a new mother to a beautiful baby girl.

Dr. Lee was born in California but grew up outside of Dallas in Rockwall. She received her education and Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health at the top ranked Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She then went on to complete her medical education at University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston.

She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at one of the largest and busiest OBGYN training programs in the nation- University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. She then worked in the maternal fetal medicine department as faculty at one of the top ranked medical centers- Washington University St Louis.

She joined Plano Healthcare for Women in 2016 with Gwen Webster, MD. Dr. Webster retired from private practice in June 2025 and Dr. Lee joined OBGYN North Dallas. Dr. Lee has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics, routine premenopausal and menopausal gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecological procedures Dr. Lee and her husband, Dr. William Hotchkiss currently live in Plano with their 2 children and dogs. Angela Watson, MD, will be joining our practice in January 2017. Dr. Watson graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2008.

She has been in private practice in Arlington for the past eight years. Theresa Conyac, MD, FACOG, is an obstetrician and gynecologist, and the founder of Glow Obstetrics & Gynecology in Rockwall, Texas. Dr. Conyac is devoted to ensuring the appropriate care for women and offers comprehensive solutions in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment.

Dr. Conyac started as a volunteer candy striper at a Chicago hospital when she was just 13 years old, working in the postpartum unit. She completed medical training at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, with a special interest in the historical marks of internal medicine.

Jennifer Allen, MD, is one of the caring physicians at Frisco Obstetrics and Gynecology, PA, located in Frisco, Texas.

Dr. Allen always knew that she was going to be a physician. From her parents’ recollection, she was three years old when she informed them. She credits the physicians she was exposed to growing up and a passion for helping others as the inspiration that sustained her dream.

Born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, her formal education includes dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from North Carolina State University. It was there that she cemented her foundation for academic excellence, scholarship, and leadership. She received numerous awards and accolades while in attendance. Upon graduation, Dr. Allen became a chemist at a major pharmaceutical firm.

Soon the path that she had started brought her back to medical school. Dr. Allen completed her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is most inspired by her stint as a Schweitzer fellow. As a fellow, Dr. Allen participated in a project that allowed her to educate women about breast and cervical cancer screening in rural North Carolina. She did this by using churches as a platform for presenting information.

Dr. Allen went on to do her internship at East Tennessee State University, where she received the "Resident of the Year" award. She then completed her residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern, Parkland Health and Hospital Systems. Her senior resident research project was published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Jennifer Allen is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She maintains hospital affiliations at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano.

Thao Nguyen, OBGYN is a caring and empathetic member of the team at Frisco Obstetrics and Gynecology, PA, in Frisco, Texas. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a Baylor alumna who earned her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She then trained at John Peter Smith (JPS) county hospital in Fort Worth, where she became a well-rounded obstetrician and gynecologist by caring for girls and women from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

She derives pleasure in bringing comfort to women in their pivotal health care experiences. Dr. Petrovski was born and raised in the metropolitan Detroit area. She is a University of Michigan and Wayne State University alumni and relocated to Dallas for the opportunity to complete residency training at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology. While there, Dr. Petrovski was named as Chief Resident in her fourth year along with Dr. Jennifer Bailey and Dr. Michele Pepperell.
