Dr. Marjon Mobasseri grew up in Ohio and graduated from Case Western Reserve University where she studied Biomedical Engineering. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, after which she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

I graduated from the Midwifery Program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Prior to becoming a midwife, I was an Ob/Gyn sonographer. Upon graduation from Downstate, I received multiple awards for dedication and perseverance to the Midwifery Program. Dr. Kakossian graduated Medical School with Honors and Distinction in 1991. She completed an exchange fellowship program at Columbia University, NY in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She graduated as Chief resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Lutheran Medical Center, NY.
