Dr. Kelly finished his medical training with a residency in ophthalmology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Glen Oaks, Queens, where he served as chief resident. He maintains his advanced credentials to stay current with the latest advances in ophthalmology. Dr. Kelly also helps teach the Osler board review class.
He is currently accepting new patients and welcomes them to Eye Care & Surgery.
Jessica Barest, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Eye Care & Surgery in New York City, which has two locations in Washington Heights, Manhattan, and another near the Grand Concourse in the Bronx, right across the street from Yankee Stadium. She’s been practicing comprehensive eye care for over two decades.
Dr. Barest received her undergraduate degree from Haverford College in Pennsylvania and earned her medical degree at New York City’s Mount Sinai School of Medicine in East Harlem, Manhattan. She went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
Dr. Barest is an attending physician at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she’s a member of the teaching staff within the ophthalmology residency training program. She is dedicated to the ophthalmology profession and was honored by her peers as a New York Times Magazine Super Doctor.
A diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Barest stays up to date with the latest advances in ophthalmology technology and procedures.
Dr. Barest is fluent in both English and Spanish and is delighted to be a part of the outstanding team at Eye Care & Surgery, where she welcomes new and existing patients to the practice.
