Dr. Urooj’s passion for medicine began during his high school years. His love for science took him to the University of North Texas, where in 2014, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduated with honors. Then in 2018, he earned his Doctor of Podiatric medicine and surgery degree at Arizona College of Podiatric medicine-Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
Upon graduation, Dr. Urooj matched at Carl T. Hayden Veterans Medical Center for his residency training in Foot and Ankle medicine and surgery. At this institution his residency training consisted of inpatient, outpatient, clinical, and surgical experiences. He completed many different rigorous medical and surgical rotations for an overall comprehensive experience.
