Dr. Kyle Yi is a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in trauma and reconstructive surgery. He is proud to serve patients at Foot & Ankle Premier Specialists, with locations in Hoboken, Jersey City, Bayonne, Ridgefield & Bloomfield, NJ.
He graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and continued his education at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, where he obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM).
Dr. Yi then began his surgical training at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He was selected to serve as Chief Resident during his final year and graduated with credentials from the Council of Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) to perform reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Gujral was born in New Delhi and raised in Staten Island, New York. Dr. Gujral then enrolled at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, where he received his doctorate in podiatry, graduating near the top of his class.

As an undergraduate, Dr. Kozin attended Tufts University in Massachusetts, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. At Tufts, she was an All-American collegiate lacrosse player, and to this day holds four Tufts records in Women's Lacrosse. She then went on to receive her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. At NYCPM she continued her interest in athletics as President of the Sports Medicine Club and volunteering at events such as the New York City Triathlon.

Unlike many other medical specialties, podiatrists are trained in a region of the body and not just a system. As a doctor and surgeon, Dr. Jean is able to treat various conditions of the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg.
Based on this understanding, Dr. Jean can treat various skin problems, bone and joint problems, certain types of painful nerve conditions, and other soft tissue abnormalities. He also treats biomechanical problems that occur as a result of different types of pathologic foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Jean practices both podiatric medicine and podiatric foot & ankle surgery.
Dr. Jean is considered by his peers to be a talented and skilled surgeon. However, he takes pride mostly in his personable approach to patient care. He believes having a great bedside manner allows for open communication with his patients. He feels that the atmosphere in his office is that of a family-type of environment.
Dr. Jean spends the necessary time to ensure that patients understand their problems and/or conditions. He also prioritizes the discussion of various conservative and surgical treatment options that may be available. Dr. Jean feels it is very important to be up front and honest with his patients, just as he would be with any family member.
Dr. Jean has worked with The Foot Specialty Practice since 2008. He assumed the position as principal owner in 2010. Dr. Jean currently works with Dr. Roxann Clarke, DPM.
Dr. Jean has a great zeal for life. He loves to travel. He keeps himself busy playing sports such as basketball and soccer, and he also likes to run. Most of all, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son.
Dr. Jean is proud to say that he practices podiatry because he loves it. He actually feels that he was meant to do this. He feels that podiatry allows him the privilege to improve peoples lives in a meaningful way.
Roxann V. Clarke attended Hampton University in Virginia, where she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Biology and her Master's of Science in Medical Science and Research. She then attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine and obtained her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. She received further training at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where she continued and finished extensive training in Podiatric Medicine and Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Roxann V. Clarke now practices at Downtown Podiatry Services in the Financial District, Manhattan, New York. She also works in Brooklyn at BMS Family Health Center, providing diabetic and wound care. Dr. Clarke is a published author in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a consultant for product development at ALLY shoes.
