At Salient Health and Wellness, patients get the mental health care they need from an experienced medical specialist who cares about their well-being. Serving patients in Atlanta, Lawrenceville, and Dacula, Georgia, as well as Iowa, Oregon, Florida, and Washington State. Joy Ibeh, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, is a doctoral-trained, double board-certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner. Dr. Ibeh provides talk therapy support, and medication management through a telehealth platform.
At Salient Health and Wellness, patients get results-driven care for problems including anxiety, depression, insomnia and bipolar disorder. Dr. Ibeh also offers treatment and support for complex issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and psychotic disorder. She specializes in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism as well.
Stimulant Policy: While stimulant medications like Vyvanse, Adderall, and Ritalin are typically the initial treatment for ADHD symptoms, they carry the potential for tolerance, dependency, and abuse, leading to strict control over their usage. In light of this, SALIENT HEALTH AND WELLNESS opts for non-stimulant medications, which have received FDA approval for treating ADHD in both adults and children. Our practice REFRAINS from prescribing stimulants but embraces the use of non-stimulant alternatives
Dr. Ibeh offers compassionate care with an integrative and holistic approach that focuses on her patients to learn about their specific psychiatric and mental health needs. She considers each patient’s lifestyle, financial limitations, and personality when offering care and medication. Patients benefit from telehealth visits, so they can schedule conveniently and receive talk therapy and guidance from a comfortable, safe location.
Dr. Ibeh welcomes patients of all ages 6 and above, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Call today or use this website to schedule a virtual appointment.
