Maria A. Sosa, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist at Greater Houston Radiation Oncology with two offices in Houston, Texas, and another in Huntsville, Texas. Dr. Sosa has been in practice since 2005 and is proud to provide her patients with thorough, personalized care.

Dr. Sendhil Subramanian, we like to call him Dr. Subra, is board-certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and has over 25 years of experience. He specializes in minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments, particularly Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Genicular Artery Embolization, and Radioembolization.

Dr. Subramanian earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and completed his medical internship at Indiana University School of Medicine. He then pursued his Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.

Enrique Hernandez, MD, is a vascular medicine specialist and interventional cardiologist at Advanced Vascular Cardiac & Veins in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Enrique Hernandez has been serving the great community of Miami since 2016 after serving as Associate Director of Peripherovascular Disease at the Cardiology Department of Lenox Hill Heart & Vascular Institute in New York.  There, Dr. Hernandez performed the first catheter-based repair of an abdominal aortic aneurysm using a completely non-surgical technique and was among the first in New York City to perform this procedure.  Thereafter, he practiced in Houston, Texas with the world-renowned medical group Leachman Cardiology Associates.

Dr. Hernandez is considered a new breed of Interventional Cardiologist, having completed fellowship training in General Cardiology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York and Interventional Cardiology at one of the premier US programs in this field at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he developed expertise in complex coronary interventions via both radial and femoral approach (wrist & groin access respectively).  He then trained in the treatment of complex peripheral vascular disease and aortic aneurysms at the prestigious Vascular center the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas with world-renowned physicians in that field.

He currently serves as a proctor physician nationally and internationally for the most complex vascular procedures meant to save limbs from amputation. Dr. Kamalani Hanamaikai, DO, is a distinguished board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, specializing in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is currently serving patients at HealthyU Clinics, with locations in Surprise, Paradise Valley, and Gilbert, Arizona.

 

Born and raised in Provo, Utah, Dr. Hanamaikai is of Hawaiian, Japanese, and Navajo descent, enriching his perspective and approach to patient care. He is fluent in Spanish, a skill honed during his LDS mission in Montevideo, Uruguay. After earning his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, he pursued his medical education at the A.T. Still University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona, graduating in 2014.

 

Dr. Hanamaikai furthered his medical training at The University of Arizona in Tucson, where he completed his internship in Internal Medicine, Residency in Diagnostic Radiology, and Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He has developed expertise in a wide range of advanced Interventional Radiologic procedures, including atherectomy, interventional oncology, interventional pain, vertebral augmentation, musculoskeletal procedures, trauma management, and many other advanced Interventional Radiologic procedures.

 

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Hanamaikai is passionate about education and knowledge sharing. He serves as a professor of Medical Imaging and Anatomy at his alma mater, A.T. Still University. He has also been a Grand Rounds speaker at The University of Chicago in 2022 and a keynote speaker at the Radiology Expo 2022, where he shared his journey and passion for Radiology.

Julie Shultz, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., which has offices in Rochester Hills and Troy, Michigan. She specializes in breast imaging and intervention.

As a life-long Michigander, Dr. Shultz received her undergraduate degree at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti and went on to receive her Medical Doctorate from Wayne State University in Detroit. She then completed her internship and residency at Oakwood (Corewell) hospital in Dearborn.

In practice since 2008, Dr. Shultz has dedicated her entire career to the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. Dr. Gregory Farino, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist conditions. He completed a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh and an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Penn State University–Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Farino earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, where he graduated AOA, and completed his undergraduate education at DeSales University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Dr. Farino is an affiliate provider with 360 Orthopedics, where he sees patients in the Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch offices, and performs procedures at Premier Surgery Center. His clinical focus includes the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of hand and wrist conditions, with treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. Outside of medicine, Dr. Farino enjoys ancient Greek and Roman history, physical fitness, and traveling.
