Dr. Perinbasekar received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. During his residency he received awards for his research in inflammatory bowel disease. Tate Kirk, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist in White Plains, New York. He is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Kirk has held faculty positions at Montefiore Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital, where he led the division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Currently, he serves as the lead interventional radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian “The One” in White Plains.
As an interventional radiologist, Dr. Kirk performs image-guided, minimally invasive procedures to manage and treat a wide variety of clinical conditions. His particular focus and interests are in the treatment of liver-directed cancer treatment (Y-90 radioembolization, percutaneous ablation) and portal venous interventions.
