His background also includes 11 years of nursing experience, specializing in clinical coordination, crisis intervention, and behavioral health support. His dual licensure allows him to offer a comprehensive, holistic approach to treatment, focusing on both mental and physical well-being.
Dania Alshafei, LMCHC graduated from The Citadel with a Master's of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology. In her treatment, Dania utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & positive psychology and prefers to take a natural approach to treating symptoms. She enjoys working with individuals & couples who are experiencing a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, trauma & abuse, as well as those experiencing difficult life transitions (divorce, relocation, grief & loss, etc.). Dania also specializes in multicultural issues and enjoys working with individuals & families who are experiencing difficulties.

I have worked with many adults and children of all ages, including inmates and those involved in the prison system. If you feel like your life is being consumed or controlled by anxiety, depression, trauma, or another struggle, I want to help you overcome these things.
When we work together, you get to decide what we work on. I’ll listen to your experiences and struggles and together we will create short-term and long-term goals to help you feel like yourself again. I like to focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) during our sessions.

I want to tell you that there is hope, and healing is attainable! I enjoy working with clients to help them find healing.
