When Dr. Steven .D. Kaplan was in elementary school, there were two things he enjoyed; interacting with others and working with his hands by playing music and writing songs. He truly feels that these two loves led him to become a dentist. By the age of 11, he was already telling people he was going to become a dentist after he shadowed and assisted at his family’s dentist's office.

Dr. Kaplan got his undergraduate degree at The University College of Arts and Sciences at NYU, where he graduated Cum Laude. Thereafter, Dr. Kaplan attended The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and graduated with honors in Biochemistry. Dr. Marsheh practiced General Dentistry for 1 year before entering the Endodontic Program to experience complete patient care. He has provided endodontic therapy to many patients. About Dr. Fahid

Dr. Ahmad Fahid is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he received his Master's Degree and Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics in 1975. He also received a Certificate of Endodontics from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

Following graduation, Dr. Fahid has taught at the University of Florida and in 1981, he joined the UCLA Department of Endodontics, where he also served as an Acting Chairman of the Department of Endodontics.

Dr. Fahid served as a Consultant to the Sonendo Company for the development of the GentleWave System and he and his office were involved in the development of this revolutionary treatment approach, since its inception in 2009 until it received FDA approval.

He is a current member of the American Association of Endodontics and the American Dental Association. He was widely published in Endodontics and Dental Journals, and has contributed to the Endodontics Book 3rd Edition by John Ingle, DDS, MSD.

Dr. Lakhanpal completed her dental degree at New York University, where she achieved Honors in Faculty Practice and Honors in Research. After graduating from dental school, she completed hospital-based training at NYU Langone Hospital in Sunset Park.
