I graduated from UAB Family Residency program in 2006. I have been practicing in Florida for 13 years as an emergency room physician. I was born in Cuba and later emigrated to Spain before coming to the U.S.. I trained in Belize at St. Matthew’s School of Medicine and then in Manchester, England. My residency took place at the University of Birmingham Alabama for Family Medicine Specialty. I became Board Certified in Family Medicine in 2005. I have spent my majority of practice in Emergency Medicine. I have numerous certifications with extensive continuing medical education. I am proficient in multiple procedures from colposcopy to colonoscopy, along with a variety of up to date skin procedures.
