Alexis graduated with honors in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2014. She then subsequently began working as a Registered Nurse for the next 5 years with a background of medical-surgical and operating room experience. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University in Glendora, California, with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2021, and shortly began her career as a healthcare provider.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing her passions such as exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She hopes to travel the world one day and enjoys adventuring on mini getaways with her loved ones.
Kevin Tin, MD, MBA, FACP, is a skilled gastroenterologist at Newtown Gastroenterology, with four New York City locations: Elmhurst and Flushing in Queens, Sunset Park in Brooklyn, and Chinatown in Manhattan.
Dr. Tin is proud of his Chinese heritage and his local training. He bridges communication and cultural barriers to obtain appropriate competent care in a community with many stomach, liver, and intestinal illnesses and cancer. He cares for his patients with a dedicated, proactive approach to their health and wellness.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, Dr. Tin graduated Magna Cum Laude at the American University of Antigua. He also completed his master's in Health Care Administration at Plymouth State University during his medical training.
Dr. Tin completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center and a clinical transplant hepatology fellowship training at New York University Langone Medical Center. He was then selected as Chief Fellow during his gastroenterology training. He is board certified in Obesity Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology. He is an active member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has published numerous articles and publications in multiple clinical journals and has spoken at various conferences. He holds hospital affiliations with Maimonides Medical Center, Northwell, NYP-Queens, and NYP–Brooklyn Methodist.
