Dr. Coffey earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1989 and his doctoral degree in biochemistry from the University of Florida 1994. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1998 and completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Michigan in 2001. He received board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2001 and remains board certified. Dr. Coffey has been in practice as an internal medicine hospitalist with StatCare since 2001.
Dr. Betanzos comes to StatCare to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. He graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine in 2012 and completed Residency in Internal Medicine at Creighton University in 2015. Dr. Betanzos is a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Byrd comes to StatCare to practice in the field of pulmonary and critical care medicine with a special interest in advanced pulmonary diagnostics utilizing bronchoscopic computer navigation and endobronchial ultrasound techniques for diagnosing lung lesions. She graduated from Harvard University in 1986. Dr. Byrd completed both Residency in 1995 and her Fellowship in 1998 at the University of Alabama. She received her board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1995, Pulmonary Disease in 1998, Critical Care Medicine in 2010 and currently remains board certified in these fields. Dr. Byrd is the Medical Director for Outpatient Services for StatCare. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the Tennessee Medical Association.
Dr. Raj joined StatCare in 2022 to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. She graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2007 and completed Residency in Internal Medicine at ETSU James H. Quillen College of Medicine in 2013. Before joining StatCare, she practiced in Columbia, TN. Dr. Raj is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American College of Physicians. She enjoys traveling, baking, gardening, crafting, and reading. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Hindi.
Dr. Munteanu graduated from Carol Davila University of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania in 1995. She has been happy to work as a StatCare Internal Medicine physician since 2001, right after she completed her Internal Medicine residency training with Meridia Health System in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2001 and she obtained her recertification in 2011, and again in 2021. Dr. Munteanu is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association and Knoxville Academy of Medicine.

She graduated undergrad from Lincoln Memorial University in 2011, attended medical school at LMU-DCOM graduating in 2015 and completed Residency in Internal Medicine at Greenville Health System- University of South Carolina in 2018. She moved back to Knoxville where she was born to be closer to family with her husband. She enjoys reading, running, watching movies, walking her dogs and spending time with her family.

He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2003 and completed Residency in Internal Medicine at the Unversity of Tennessee Chattanooga. Dr. Luchsinger completed Residency in 1990 at the University of Cincinnati and his Fellowship in 1995 at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD.
