David Afram, MD, FACOG, is an experienced OB/GYN at Captial Women’s Care in Fairfax, Manassas, and Haymarket, Virginia. With 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Afram has helped countless women and continues to provide quality, personalized care.
Dr. Afram is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology since 2009. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Surgeons.
Dr. Afram’s medical journey began when he attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where Dr. Afram obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biology. Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Afram moved on to George Washington University Hospital, where he finished his medical residency training and where he also received the teaching award for Council on Residents Education in obstetrics and gynecology.
A former assistant clinical professor at the West Virginia School of Medicine, Dr. Afram has various medical areas of interest, which comprise of high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries.
In Dr. Afram’s spare time, he takes pleasure in spending time with his family and playing tennis and soccer. He also enjoys reading and has a special interest in history and international affairs. He is fluent in multiple languages including English, Arabic, and French.

Danielle Austin, MD, is an OB/GYN serving patients at Capital Women’s Care in Fairfax, Manassas, and Haymarket, Virginia.
Dr. Austin received her bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut. After graduation, she worked at a biotechnology firm conducting research on a noninvasive test for Down syndrome before attending medical school. Dr. Austin graduated from the University of

Richard E. Broth, MD, is a perinatologist and the medical director of TLC Perinatal PA in Silver Spring, Germantown, and Hagerstown, Maryland. About Dr. Young
As a leader in modern women’s health solutions and a highly regarded gynecologic surgeon, Carolynn Young, MD, is a trusted physician for women of all ages. Dr. Young treats patients at Rockville Gynecology in Rockville, Maryland.
After completing her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr. Young was accepted into medical school. She earned her doctor of medicine from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Young then completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency through Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. She’s currently board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists.
Throughout her career, Dr. Young has gained extensive experience in pelvic floor surgery and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Young regularly speaks at conferences and teaches her peers about modern surgical procedures and women’s health topics. She has special interests in uterine fibroids, abnormal bleeding, contraception, adolescent gynecology, and abnormal Pap smears.
Dr. Young was even the first physician to perform robotic surgery using the da Vinci® system at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2009. She continues to utilize the da Vinci system to perform hysterectomy, myomectomy, resection of endometriosis, and removal of ovarian cyst procedures.
Outside of Rockville Gynecology, Dr. Young serves as the co-director of the Robotic Surgery Steering Committee at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville. Dr. Meagan Slate is a board-certified Gynecologist who was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. She loves connecting with her patients on a personal level and treasures being their source of well-being and comfort amongst the stress of everyday life. Dr. Slate has developed an unwavering passion for minimally invasive surgery. During her training, she traveled overseas to several of the top European hospitals, perfecting her surgical skills for a variety of gynecologic procedures. It was during this time that she recognized the importance of perioperative wellness, which led her to initiate an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program at her institution. She continues to utilize these tools to ensure that her patients always experience an enhanced recovery. The success of her design in minimizing narcotic use was recognized by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), who invited Dr. Slate to speak at their Global Congress in Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Slate completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and received her medical degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She completed her residency training at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Slate and her husband, John, expanded their family with the arrival of their daughter in the Spring of 2022.
