Board-certified OB/GYN Dee L. Hubbard, MD, offers personalized gynecologic care to girls and women of all ages at her practice in the heart of Catonsville, Maryland. Dr. Hubbard believes in shared decision-making, where every patient is treated as an individual, not a condition.

Richard E. Broth, MD, is a perinatologist and the medical director of TLC Perinatal PA in Silver Spring, Germantown, and Hagerstown, Maryland. His practice is built on a simple yet powerful tenet that the Canadian physician, Sir William Osler, one of the founding professors at Johns Hopkins Hospital, embraced: “The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.”  Throughout his medical career, Dr. Broth has tapped into this guiding principle to strive for excellence, not only for serving his patients, but also in teaching future doctors and in conducting research.

After completing her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr. Young was accepted into medical school. She earned her doctor of medicine from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. 

Dr. Young then completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency through Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. Dr. Meagan Slate is a board-certified Gynecologist who was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. She loves connecting with her patients on a personal level and treasures being their source of well-being and comfort amongst the stress of everyday life. Dr. Slate has developed an unwavering passion for minimally invasive surgery. During her training, she traveled overseas to several of the top European hospitals, perfecting her surgical skills for a variety of gynecologic procedures. It was during this time that she recognized the importance of perioperative wellness, which led her to initiate an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program at her institution. She continues to utilize these tools to ensure that her patients always experience an enhanced recovery. The success of her design in minimizing narcotic use was recognized by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), who invited Dr. Slate to speak at their Global Congress in Vancouver, Canada.

Dr. Slate completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and received her medical degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Gerrit Schipper is a dedicated member of the staff at Capital Women’s Care. Although he is no longer performing deliveries, he offers a number of other valuable services to patients in and around the area of Mount Airy and Frederick, Maryland.

Before beginning his career in Maryland, Dr. Schipper attended the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara in Zapopan, Mexico. He graduated from university in 1979 and obtained his medical degree from the Track V Program at the University of Maryland Medical School. Dr. Schipper completed both his internship and residency at South Baltimore General Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

During his medical training, Dr. Schipper studied the fields of obstetrics and gynecology in detail. His areas of interest include vaginal surgery, operative laparoscopy, female incontinence, and pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Bienkowski earned his medical degree at the Academy of Medicine in Wroclaw, Poland, where he graduated in 1982. Dr. Bienkowski later completed his residency at St. Agnes Hospital and the University of Maryland Hospital in 1986. Although he has studied all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology during his career, his primary areas of interest include endometrial ablation, natural hormone therapy, and menopause. Dr. Pascale Duroseau attended Carnegie Mellon University, where she recieved a Bachelor's of Science degree in microbiology in May 1994. She then attended New York University in New York City, New York where she earned her medical degree in 1998.

Dr. Duroseau completed her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Medicine/Greater Baltimore Medical Center program in June 2002. She graduated with the eloquatious title of "Resident Most Likely to Help a Collegue."

Dr. Duroseau has earned her board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She loves the diversity offered by the field of obstetrics and gynecology. She has particular interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures, high risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology and the transition to menopause.

An interesting fact about this journey is that she attended NYU with her two twin cousins who are from Frederick, MD. The circle is now complete. She is thrilled to be practicing in her cousin's hometown. Dr. Duroseau is married and has three children.

Dr. Amy Heyman is a valued member of the medical staff at Capital Women’s Care. She provides a number of different services for patients in and around Frederick, Mount Airy & Urbana, Maryland.

Dr. Heyman completed 4 years of undergraduate training at Michigan State University. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she attended medical school at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

After medical school, Dr. Heyman completed her internship and residency at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Her professional interests include minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery, adolescent gynecology, and menopausal gynecology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, watching movies, traveling, and being outdoors.
