Dr. Debra Westervelt is originally from Hemet, a small town in Southern California. In her early years of college, she found a passion in healthcare where she felt she could best impact her community and graduated with a degree in biology from La Sierra University at the top of her class. She then earned a doctorate degree at the acclaimed University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Westervelt loves every aspect of dentistry and worked as a general dentist in the Napa area for several years. Dr. Beydoun, our periodontist, has been successfully practicing periodontics and dental implantology for over 18 years. He initially received his DMD degree from Boston University in 1994. He then completed 3 years of rigorous training in Periodontics and dental implants, in addition to a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Beydoun accomplished the prestigious and demanding step of becoming a Board Certified Periodontist and dental implantologist in 1997. Currently, he serves as a part-time clinical professor at Rutgers University. Dr. Beydoun takes a special interest in the field of esthetic periodontics and dental implants. Therefore, he is constantly working to enhance his knowledge and technical skills in those areas by attending CE courses and specialty conferences, including the field of Laser dentistry.

Born and raised in San Jose, CA, Dr. Beniel Tamraz DDS, MS is a dedicated and caring periodontist. 

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, & Behavioral Sciences at UC Davis and later graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, Class of 2020, where he held multiple leadership roles, engaged in community service, and received the American Academy of Periodontology dental student award. 

Dr. Tamraz furthered his specialization in periodontics at UCSF, earning a Master of Science while conducting research on platelet-rich fibrin in systemically compromised patients. He also contributed to research published in Clinical Advances in Periodontics, focusing on soft tissue techniques.

A proud member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association, Dr. Tamraz's expertise in periodontics encompasses managing periodontal disease, soft tissue gum rejuvenation, implantology, and bone regeneration. Outside of dentistry, he's a music composer and enjoys a range of outdoor activities, including climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, and snowboarding.

Dr. Fani is our gum specialist. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Irvine and UCLA, followed by her dental degree from USC, where she graduated with honors. She continues to educate herself today in order to provide the highest level of treatment and patient satisfaction possible. Medha Singh, DMD, BDS, MS, is a periodontist and implant specialist at First Dental Associates in Reading, Massachusetts. Dr. Singh has completed extensive research and training in oral medicine, allowing her to deliver safe and comfortable dental care for all of her patients. 

Dr. Singh earned her bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the Government Dental College and Research Institute in India.
