Gaurav Banka, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with a wide range of experience in both cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Banka is proud to bring integrative care to the communities of Los Angeles at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Torrance and Redondo Beach, California.

A longtime academic, Dr. Banka graduated with honors in biology and health policy from Harvard University. Before attending Stanford University School of Medicine, he spent a year building the Indian government's healthcare system with the Clinton Foundation. He later completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Ronald Reagan Medical Center. Dr. Banka is trained in all aspects of cardiology but specializes in cardiac imaging. Sang Yong Ji, MD, is a board-certified adult cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at COR Healthcare in Torrance, California. His board certification also includes internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography.

Dr. Ji was born in South Korea and moved to Paraguay during his junior high school year. He earned his medical degree from Asunción National University, Paraguay. He then moved to New York City to complete internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine before completing a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and she attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Shin completed her residency at the UCLA San Fernando Valley program, where she was chief resident, and her fellowships at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California and Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Shin specializes in interventional cardiology, management of advanced cardiac disease, cardiac catheterization, coronary stent placement, peripheral arterial disease and intervention, echocardiography, stress echocardiography and pacemakers.
