Derek Baker, LMHC, CASAC, MA, is an experienced therapist offering culturally sensitive support to adults and children from age 6 at his self-named practice, Logos Mental Health and Wellness, in Fayetteville, New York.
Derek attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, earning master’s degrees in human services and professional counseling. He also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Liberty University. Derek offers a new, refreshing experience for patients who’ve previously had therapy. I chose to go into the counseling profession to help others who struggle with addiction or mental health disorders. I am passionate about providing empathetic support while delivering high quality patient care. There was a time that I struggled with my own addiction and mental health issues. When I finally got sober, my goal was to help others who share those struggles. I am now nearing my 12th year of sobriety and look forward to continuing my passion of working to help others. Some of the things I enjoy outside of work include spending time with my family, raising chickens, growing my own vegetables, and developing my spiritual relationship with God.

Amy is a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in assisting clients with identifying their strengths in addressing issues which threaten a client’s successful navigation of life’s challenges. These challenges include (but are not limited to) personal, family, and career events which could disrupt the client’s peaceful and abundant living. I have enjoyed living in North Roanoke for the past 30 years. I’m married and have four wonderful sons, two amazing daughters-in-law, and four adorable granddaughters and three adventurous grandsons. Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in Children & Families. My passion is meeting children where they are at and utilizing their strengths and interests to help them grow. I incorporate elements of experiential therapy, play therapy, art therapy, and equine therapy to engage kids and make therapy fun. Our location is located on a horse farm with access to acres of beautiful land where we have access to multiple outdoor activities to allow kids feel more comfortable as we build a therapeutic relationship.
