Philip Fried, MD, is the medical director at West Derm Center, which he originally founded in 1991. Under Dr. Fried’s expert guidance, the practice has grown to six New York locations, one each in White Plains, New Rochelle, and Yonkers, and their Bronx offices in Pelham Gardens and Riverdale. Lainey Ortiz, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. 

Mrs. Ortiz received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The College of William and Mary and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from LIU in Brooklyn, New York. She is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants and The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Michael Tassavor, MD, MS, is a board-certified dermatologist and attending physician at MDCS: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery with offices in the Midtown East and Upper East Side neighborhoods of New York City, as well as Smithtown, Commack, Hampton Bays, and Plainview, New York, and Clifton, Marlboro, and Englewood, New Jersey.

Dr. Husain was accepted into an accelerated and highly competitive seven-year dual program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He graduated the BA/MD program with high academic honors and completed his residency training in dermatology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where he served as chief resident in his final year. 

He also completed a dual fellowship program in cosmetic dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Husain received extensive training in several cosmetic procedures, including body contouring, laser surgery, aesthetic injectables, as well as advanced skin cancer surgery. 

Upon completion of his fellowship training, he started his medical career working at a private practice in Washington, D.C. and worked as a clinical instructor of dermatology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
