Dr. Raj joined StatCare in 2022 to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. She graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2007 and completed Residency in Internal Medicine at ETSU James H. Quillen College of Medicine in 2013. Before joining StatCare, she practiced in Columbia, TN. Dr. Raj is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American College of Physicians. She enjoys traveling, baking, gardening, crafting, and reading. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Hindi.
Dr. Byrd comes to StatCare to practice in the field of pulmonary and critical care medicine with a special interest in advanced pulmonary diagnostics utilizing bronchoscopic computer navigation and endobronchial ultrasound techniques for diagnosing lung lesions. She graduated from Harvard University in 1986. Dr. Byrd completed both Residency in 1995 and her Fellowship in 1998 at the University of Alabama. She received her board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1995, Pulmonary Disease in 1998, Critical Care Medicine in 2010 and currently remains board certified in these fields. Dr. Byrd is the Medical Director for Outpatient Services for StatCare. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the Tennessee Medical Association.
Dr. Buckner comes to StatCare to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. He graduated from University of Arizona in 1998. Dr. Buckner completed Residency in 2002. He received his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2002 and currently remains board certified. Dr. Miller graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2003 where he also completed his Residency in 2006. Dr. Estes has been practicing pulmonary and critical care in Knoxville, TN since 1991 and has been with StatCare practicing pulmonary and critical care since 2000. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1980, and medical school from the University of South Florida in 1984. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham hospitals and pulmonary critical care fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, completing in 1989. Dr. Estes has a special interest in advanced pulmonary diagnostics utilizing bronchoscopic computer navigation and endobronchial ultrasound techniques for diagnosing lung lesions. Dr. Doleh comes to StatCare to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 2003. Dr. Doleh completed his internal medicine residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland in 2006. He received his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2007 and currently remains board certified.
Dr. Herman comes to StatCare to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. She graduated from University Francisco Marroquin in 1992. Dr. Herman completed Residency in 1998 She received her board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2003 and currently remains board certified.
Dr. Munteanu graduated from Carol Davila University of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania in 1995. She has been happy to work as a StatCare Internal Medicine physician since 2001, right after she completed her Internal Medicine residency training with Meridia Health System in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2001 and she obtained her recertification in 2011, and again in 2021. Dr. Munteanu is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association and Knoxville Academy of Medicine.
Dr. Desai joined StatCare in 2021 to practice in the field of hospitalist internal medicine. She graduated from RCSM Government Medical School in 2013 and completed Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami JFK Medical Center in 2018. Dr. Desai enjoys skydiving, bungee jumping, dancing, traveling, and movies. She is fluent in Englush, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi.
Dr. Pharaoh comes to StatCare to practice in the field of pulmonary and critical care medicine. He graduated from University of South Florida. Dr. Pharaoh completed Residency in 1988 and his Fellowship in 1991 at the University of South Florida. He received his board certification from the American Board of Pulmonary Disease in 1990 and Critical Care Medicine in 1991 in which he remains currently board certified in both fields. Dr. Pharaoh is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Brunson completed Residency at the University of Alabama and his Fellowship at University of Tennessee. Dr. Swisher comes to StatCare practicing in the field of pulmonary and critical care medicine since 1995. He completed undergraduate, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy programs at The Pennsylvania State University prior to obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree at Jefferson Medical College. Subsequently, Dr. Swisher completed an Internal Medicine Residency in 1992 and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship in 1995 at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. He maintains board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Swisher is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, Pulmonary Hypertension Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine and Christian Medical and Dental Association. His special interest is pulmonary vascular diseases.

Dr. Chaltry is a Board Certified Physician in Internal Medicine since 2001. He graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1994. Medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville where he was a Chief Resident in 2001. Dr Chaltry was a traditional Internal Medicine physician in South Carolina, Mississippi, and Tennessee before joining Statcare Medical Group as a hospitalist in 2010. He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American College of Physicians, Tennessee Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. He is also a co-owner of the Green Bay Packers.
