Born and raised in Seattle, Dr. Ostrom received his Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the University of Washington in 1999. Throughout his undergraduate studies, Dr. Ostrom was actively involved in cardiovascular research at the university and at the local biotechnology company ZymoGenetics, Inc.

Shortly after graduating, Dr. Ostrom began his medical studies at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency through the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) system. In addition, Dr. Ostrom pursued cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, California, and at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles. Born and raised in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Wong was a three-sport athlete and musician in high-school.  He moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to study Computer Science and Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California.  After graduating from the Keck School of Medicine at USC, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at the LAC+USC Medical Center, and he was honored as Senior Resident of the Year during his final year.  After residency, Dr. Wong stayed at LAC+USC for his fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology.

On a personal note, Dr. Wong is married to his high-school sweetheart, Lindsay.  They spend their spare time with their daughter and miniature dachshund.  They enjoy hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.

Adam Weitzman, MD, is a Pain Management physician who practices in four Los Angeles locations, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Torrance and Seal Beach, California. He is double board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. 

Dr. Weitzman earned his medical degree and graduated with honors from the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City. He then completed an internship at the University of Pennsylvania before completing a residency in anesthesiology at Temple University, both in Philadelphia. Afterward, he finished an ACGME recognized fellowship in pain management at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in New York City, where he served as chief fellow.

Dr. Reddy graduated from Rangaraya Medical College, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, in Kakinada, India, in 1982. He completed an internship at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai, India, before relocating to the United States. Dr. Reddy moved to Detroit, Michigan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University.

Dr. Curran earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, where she received the Gilda Lipton Memorial Award for compassionate care and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then moved to San Francisco to complete her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). During her training, Dr. Curran developed a curriculum that focused on women’s heart disease while researching lifestyle interventions in postpartum women with pregnancy complications. This research resulted in multiple presentations and publications, and informed the most recent guidelines on adverse pregnancy outcomes and cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Shin is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and internal medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and she attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Shin completed her residency at the UCLA San Fernando Valley program, where she was chief resident, and her fellowships at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California and Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Shin specializes in interventional cardiology, management of advanced cardiac disease, cardiac catheterization, coronary stent placement, peripheral arterial disease and intervention, echocardiography, stress echocardiography and pacemakers.

She sits on numerous committees and is the Cardiology Subcommittee Chair for Torrance Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Healy earned his medical degree with honors from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Healy then completed interventional cardiology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, followed by advanced training in structural heart, peripheral vascular, and complex coronary interventions. Prior to being recruited to COR Healthcare, Dr. Healy worked as an interventional cardiologist at Scripps Clinic where he was part of the teaching faculty of the fellowship training program. Dr. Healy enjoys getting to know his patients and focuses on all aspects of their lives in order to personalize their treatment plans. During his free time, Dr. Healy enjoys spending quality time with his family and traveling abroad. He is also an avid long-distance runner.

James Matchison, MD, is an experienced physician at COR Healthcare Medical Associates who holds board certifications in internal medicine, interventional cardiology, adult cardiovascular disease, and adult comprehensive echocardiography. With a broad range of experience, Dr. Matchison is proud to serve the communities of Torrance and Redondo Beach, California.

Dr. Matchison earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, before attending Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. He later completed his residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, and a general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Kwan earned his medical doctorate at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center / Keck Hospital of USC.
