Matthew Rogell, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group. He has practiced in the greater Danbury, Connecticut, area since 2006.

With fellowship expertise in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, Dr. Rogell also specializes in procedures for adult total joint and reconstruction of the knees, hips, and shoulders. Dr. Joel Buchalter has been in practice since 1988, and with his lifelong professional partner, Dr. Joel Buchalter, is a founding and managing partner of Somers Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Group. He is the Chief of Joint Replacement Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital and the Medical Director at the Orthopaedic & Specialty Surgery Center in Danbury, Connecticut. He has served many years as the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Putnam Hospital Center and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
