During medical school, he served as the President of the American Podiatric Medical Students Association.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Veater completed his rigorous surgical residency training at Kaiser Permanente North Bay Consortium, where he received high-level training in podiatric medicine and surgery, including complex foot and ankle reconstruction, foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, bunions, heel pain, wound care, limb salvage, and total ankle replacements.
