Dr. Veater graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene. He continued his education, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland. During medical school, he served as the President of the American Podiatric Medical Students Association.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Veater completed his rigorous surgical residency training at Kaiser Permanente North Bay Consortium, where he received high-level training in podiatric medicine and surgery, including complex foot and ankle reconstruction, foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, bunions, heel pain, wound care, limb salvage, and total ankle replacements.
As a physician, Dr. Veater believes in the importance of listening to each patient and their needs in order to develop a personal treatment plan for them. He works hard to accommodate each patient while still giving them the best and most appropriate treatment.
