Previously, Dr. Gale provided medical leadership as the chief medical officer to various behavioral health provider organizations, including Lifewell Behavioral Wellness and Partners in Recovery. In these roles, he developed integrated behavioral and physical health clinics to treat the whole person, mind, and body.
Concurrently, he serves in a leadership role as a senior medical director in managed care at Molina Complete Care. Previously, Dr. Gale was the medical director at Cenpatico Integrated Care and Humana Behavioral Health.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Gale was chief of psychiatry for hospital-based care serving the San Francisco Bay area population. There, he transformed the department of psychiatry by shifting the focus to recovery principles and practices from what was a traditional model of care.
Dr. Gale is a graduate of DePaul University. He received his Bachelor of Science in finance with honors. He then completed medical school at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and his residency at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

Michelle Kluczinske, PMHNP-BC, is an experienced psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner at Ocean Psychiatry in Freemont, California. At the practice, Michelle offers compassionate and effective care to every patient she sees.
