Jenni Grover is our Founder and Director of Nutrition. She has been working to improve health outcomes and increase awareness of nutrition and lifestyle medicine throughout her 13+ years of experience as a practicing RD. She is a certified practitioner of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and is trained in Integrative Nutrition and weight management.
Her goal is to empower Whole Health providers to create practical, individualized plans—developed in collaboration with the patient and their PCP—that work for each individual and their specific environment. That includes taking into account health needs, family dynamics, food preferences, cultural considerations, work schedules and more.
As the mother of two foodie kids, and with a carb-loving husband, she has worked hard to develop fun, engaging ways to encourage everyone to eat well and live a little healthier. She believes that our society needs to invest in strong, preventive health and nutrition programs for all.
For the past 13 years, Kait Atkinson (she/her) has been building relationships and improving the health of North Carolinians as a Registered Dietitian in various health care settings. Kait loves working alongside her patients while they pursue their health goals. She particularly enjoys diabetes prevention and reversal, as well as overall metabolic health.
Kait’s goal is to help her patients discover realistic strategies and behaviors that can be implemented into busy lives to significantly improve current and long term health. She believes that we can all find synergy when it comes to nutrition and personally adopts an “all foods fit” philosophy.
As an RD and toddler triplet mom, Kait understands all too well how your environment, family dynamics, and work schedules can impact your health and food choices. She has personally developed a powerful toolbox of strategies for improving health and she loves applying this real-world knowledge in her professional career.
“My first appointment with Kait was very insightful! She gave me a different perspective to view healthy eating habits and to not be so hard on myself. Looking forward to my next visit.”
