Michael N. Newton MD is a pulmonologist and a sleep disorder specialist serving the community of Tampa, Florida. Anthony B. Lewis MD, FACC, is certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. With over 35 years of experience in Cardiovascular Disease, he currently sees patients at TLC Medical Group Inc in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Dr. Lewis was born in North Carolina and is a graduate of Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Race is a lifelong Texan born in Houston. Dr. Races’ Mom and Dad were both educators and stressed the value of reading and education. Growing up, Dr. Race attended Strake Jesuit High School before heading to Texas Southern to study Biology. While at Texas Southern, where his dad was a professor of biology, he got involved in animal research. After graduating, he headed to Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. After medical school, he completed his internal medicine residency at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, Ohio. After residency, he completed a year as the chief resident of the internal medicine program. Dr. Race relocated to Dallas in 1988.

This twenty- year thirst for knowledge ties back to his parent’s support and the research skills he learned in college. This additional clinical activity has allowed him to publish papers and win research awards.

Amanda specializes in pulmonary and sleep medicine and has extensive experience in critical care. She holds a Master of Science and completed doctoral coursework in biobehavioral health sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, Illinois. 

Amanda also has experience as a nurse practitioner in intensive care and oncology at RUSH University Medical Center and Northwestern Memorial Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois.
