She graduated cum laude and went on to complete her dietetic internship at the University of Virginia where she gained 1000 hours of supervised practice experience in various clinical and outpatient settings (NICU, bariatric clinic, oncology, radiology, diabetes education clinic, WIC, nutrition support surgery, nutrition support medicine, transplant, etc). She has experience working in the WIC department within a clinic setting as well as multiple skilled nursing facilities.
