Nigel Rodney, APRN, MSN, BSN, RN, AGNP
Nigel moved from Jamaica to Hartford as a young man and pursued his vision for a career in healthcare. He attended Capital Community College, then the University of Hartford, receiving a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He went on to earn a master’s degree from Walden University in 2017.
As a student, Nigel witnessed first-hand the difference in health outcomes caused by disparities in healthcare accessibility between low-income residents in Hartford County and other members of the community.
He developed a passion for bringing quality healthcare to the underserved and educating his patients, particularly about the medical conditions that disproportionately affected them. Nigel’s vision for a career in healthcare has evolved into Care Team Health, where he continues to serve the community that had welcomed him in his youth.
I work tirelessly to provide high quality patient care since 17 years. As a patient advocate and Psychiatrist Mental Health Nurse Practitioner I always work for my patients best interests. For 17 years I have worked to provide high quality, personalized, and holistic patient care.
