Dr. Correnti attended Boston College for undergraduate studies where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. She worked as a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital before completing medical school at Emory University School of Medicine. At Emory, Dr. Correnti earned dual degrees: her medical doctorate and a Master of Science of Clinical Research. She then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Maryland. Dr. Correnti practiced dermatology in Massachusetts and New Hampshire before completing an additional one-year Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship in California. She trained at California Skin Institute with Dr. Greg Morganroth, a leader and innovator in the fields of Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she was awarded the Deans Award for academic excellence. In 2006 she completed her dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital and the Veterans Administrative Medical Center in Washington DC.
