Reared in the rough inner-city area of Compton, California, Dr. Greene overcame many early challenges in life. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), where he received numerous awards, was involved in student government, and held positions in local and national health care organizations.
At UCI, Dr. Greene performed research in behavioral neuropharmacology under the direction of Dr. James L. McGaugh. Dr. Greene simultaneously performed research with H.W. Moore, chairman of the Department of Chemistry at UCI. Under the direction of these great men, Dr. Greene developed an interest in becoming a physician-scientist.
He enrolled in the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and was admitted into the very competitive Medical Scientist Training Program, where he worked, simultaneously, on his MD and PhD degrees in physiology and biophysics with an emphasis in neurophysiology. Dr. Greene excelled at the University of Washington and received numerous awards, including the Outstanding and Meritorious Service and Achievement in Academic Excellence.
At the University of Washington, Dr. Greene performed his dissertation under Dr. Wayne E. Crill, one of the preeminent neuroscientists in the country. Dr. Greene's brain research examined the effects of activating a new class of brain receptors and was published in the Journal of Neurophysiology and in the European Journal of Pharmacology.
After graduating, Dr. Greene received his residency training in general surgery and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Michigan. While there, his research led to the discovery of a novel hearing loss gene (locus), DFNA-25, and that work is published in the 2001 edition of the American Journal of Human Genetics.

A San Antonio native, Nathan has spent most of his adult career in and around Central Texas. After High School he joined the Texas Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer. While serving he attended Palo Alto College, majoring in Kinesiology and obtaining a certification as an EMT-B. He utilized his EMT training as he was assigned to the National Guard's FEMA region VI Heavy Search and Rescue team. He continued to Texas A&M San Antonio and majored in biology with a minor in exercise physiology. In 2015 he graduated the military's Interservice Physician Assistant Program, obtaining a Master's in Science in Physician Assistant studies. He has sense worked in Urgent Care settings, Military Medicine, and in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

James Osborne, DO, FACOOS, is an ear, nose, and throat doctor at Oasis Ear, Nose, and Throat in Surprise, Arizona. Dr. Osborne has been practicing in the Phoenix valley since August of 2006.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Osborne earned his undergraduate bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from The Ohio State University in 1995. After practicing pharmacy for two years, he pursued his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. Dr. Osborne stayed in Erie, Pennsylvania, and completed his medical/general surgery internship at LECOM Health Millcreek Community Hospital and his dual otorhinolaryngology and facial plastic surgery residency at UPMC Hamot Medical Center (formerly Millcreek Community Hospital). He served as chief otolaryngology resident in 2005.
Dr. Osborne is an adjunct clinical professor at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. He is also a founding physician member of the Utu Humanitarian Alliance with hopes to one day take it to the next step and personally care for those patients in under-served countries. In March 2017, Honor Health Deer Valley Hospital presented Dr. Osborne with an award in honor of his Citizenship and Community Service.

Bryan Smedley, DO, FACOOS, is an ear, nose, and throat doctor at Oasis Ear, Nose, and Throat, located in Surprise, Arizona. Dr. Smedley has been practicing in the Phoenix valley since January of 2017.
Born and raised in Layton, Utah, Dr. Smedley earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 2005. He completed medical school at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010, where he was selected into a pre-doctoral teaching Fellowship in Osteopathic Manual Medicine. He completed his residency training at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2015. He served as chief otolaryngology resident for two years (2013-2015) and was honored as Resident of the Year in 2015, which included over 120 residents and fellows from 11 different training programs. After residency, Dr. Smedley stayed in Oklahoma and practiced in a private setting for two years before moving to Arizona.
Dr. Smedley also speaks Mandarin Chinese, and he served as a volunteer service missionary in Melbourne, Australia (1999-2001). He and his wife lived in Beijing, China, in 2002. They love raising their children and family pets.
Dr. Smedley fell in love with the field of ENT at the age of 11, when he underwent an ENT procedure. After his recovery, he felt so much better that he said, “I want to do that for people.” He loves to provide all areas of otolaryngology care for patients of all ages, including children.
Timothy Queen, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist at Advanced ENT & Allergy, serving people of all ages, living in and around Newport News, Virginia, and throughout the Hampton Roads metropolitan area.
Dr. Queen earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He subsequently completed a residency in otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
