About Avo Artinyan, MD, MS

Avo Artinyan, MD, MS, is the CEO and founder of Academic Surgical Associates in Glendale, California. A nationally recognized expert and innovator in surgical oncology and colorectal surgery, Dr. Artinyan is a board-certified general surgeon, fellowship-trained surgical oncologist, and colorectal surgeon.

Dr. Artinyan is a nationally recognized expert in minimally-invasive gastrointestinal surgical oncology, particularly laparoscopic, robotic, and transanal colon and rectal cancer surgery. Ali Hendi, MD, is a widely recognized skin cancer specialist who has been caring for patients in the Washington, DC area for over a decade. A double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Hendi opened a state-of-the-art surgical facility, dedicated to the treatment of skin cancers, in Chevy Chase, Maryland in 2008. Since then, he has performed over 14,000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions. He is active in the medical community as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University Medical Center. Aliu Sanni, MD, FACS, is a Bariatric and General Surgeon of Eastside Bariatric & General Surgery, located in Snellville, Georgia.

Dr. Sanni began his medical training at Newcastle Upon Tyne in England before coming to the United States. He completed his Residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in New York and his Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, he is the Medical Director of Eastside Medical Center for Comprehensive Weight Loss Surgery. He now lives in Gwinnett County where he prides himself on providing quality care and improving the lives of his patients.

He opened Eastside Bariatric & General Surgery as his own specialty Bariatrics practice, where he has developed a comprehensive, complete program in Snellville. Kaitlyn Bernhard, DPM, is a foot and ankle surgeon practicing at Tussey Mountain Foot & Ankle Specialists located in State College, Pennsylvania. 

Originally from central Pennsylvania, Dr. Bernhard completed her undergraduate studies at Mercyhurst University with honors in a Bachelor of Science in biology. Following in her father’s footsteps, she received her doctorate at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. A 2017 graduate from Highlands-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency program in Denver, Colorado, she was extensively trained in reconstructive and trauma surgery involving the forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle. 

Dr. Bernhard is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is credentialed at Mount Nittany Medical Center and Penn Highlands Huntingdon. Her husband, Andrew Bernhard, DPM, is also a podiatrist. They previously lived in Colorado and decided to move back to Pennsylvania to be closer to family and work together. 

Outside of podiatry, Dr. Bernhard and her husband enjoy spending time with their two kids and two dogs. Together they enjoy skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and baking. Dr. Bernhard is an avid runner and has completed dozens of ultramarathons and trail races.

Peter M. Vincent, DPM has been an Associate Podiatrist at Washington Foot & Ankle Sports Medicine in Kirkland, Washington since August 2006.

Jose Antonio Hernandez Lingao, DPM, is a podiatric specialist at Albuquerque Associated Podiatrists in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Lingao treats all lower extremity pathology, with a special interest in diabetic limb salvage.
