Warren Morton, OD, is a residency trained optometrist practicing at our Missoula office. He was raised in Casper, Wyoming and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Sciences- Human Nutrition and Food from the University of Wyoming. He graduated Cum Laude from Southern California College of Optometry, after serving as class president for three years and filling various teaching assistant laboratory roles.

After optometry school Dr. Morton completed a residency in Chinle, Arizona on the Navajo Nation. This underserved community is four hours or more from ophthalmology care, and allowed him additional experience with ocular trauma, ocular emergencies, and chronic disease management including volumes of glaucoma and diabetes. After residency he followed his love of skiing and worked for two years in a medical ophthalmology clinic in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Dr. Morton works with all ages, and manages all chronic conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, uveitis, dry eye, and everything in-between. 

He comes to Missoula with his pup Sally Ride where he will continue to ski, run, hike, and of course play hockey.

Kristopher Sherrill, OD, is a highly qualified optometrist on the team at Rocky Mountain Eye Center at their Butte, Montana, office. He focuses on all facets of eye care, including treatment of eye diseases and specialty contact lens consultation.

Timsi Muttreja, OD, is an accomplished optometrist at Eyes on Second in New York City, New York. Dr. Muttreja is driven to provide exceptional and compassionate care to her patients and the people of New York City and East Village.

Dr. Donna Cooper was born in Taiwan, moved to the U.S. when she was two and was raised in Orange County. She attended the University of California at Riverside for her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, where she maintained a position on the Dean’s honor list. She pursued her doctoral degree in optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating cum laude. Her work experiences include caring for patients at the Veteran’s Hospital in Los Angeles and the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii. In addition, Dr. Cooper worked at the Center for the Partially Sighted, performing low vision examinations to the visually impaired. Her care has also extended to numerous school districts to perform vision screenings, as well as seeing patients at the JWCH clinic located on Skid Row in Los Angeles. Dr. Cooper is glaucoma certified and manages various eye conditions. 

In her leisure time, she likes to read, bake, and cook. She enjoys spending time with her husband and sons. One of her favorite past times is traveling and New Zealand is her favorite place thus far. A quirky fact is that she is Celine Dion’s biggest fan.

With over two decades practicing as an optometrist, Jennifer Hoang, OD, has advanced experience with an array of ophthalmic concepts and technologies. She cares for patients at Eyes on Hartz Optometry in Danville, California.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in food science and technology at the University of California, Davis, Dr. Hoang was accepted into a competitive optometry program. She earned her doctorate of optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Patients of Dr. Hoang commend her caring and warm personality. She strives to be attentive and educate her patients by carefully explaining solutions without being overwhelming. If needed, Dr. Hoang even consults with ophthalmologists or other health care practitioners if a patient requires further medical treatment.

While Dr. Hoang can diagnose and treat several types of eye diseases, she most regularly treats patients who have macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy, to name a few. Vasudha Bhutani, O.D., is the lead optometric physician at Stockdale Optometry. She specializes in orthokeratology (ortho-k), an innovative, nonsurgical vision treatment that uses the technology of contact lenses for myopia control.

As a therapeutic optometrist and member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC), Dr. Bhutani is especially interested in the treatment’s potential to control myopia, which involves slowing down the progression of nearsightedness in children. 

Dr. Bhutani, also known as Dr. B, received her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and her Doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Bhutani pursued a residency in Behavioral and Developmental Optometry in San Diego under the supervision of Dr. Claude Valenti. She gained experience working with patients presenting with diverse and complex needs, including kids with learning difficulties due to visual-dysfunction, traumatic brain injuries, and sports vision.

In addition to her passion for vision care, Dr. Bhutani is an IKYTA-certified Kundalini yoga and meditation teacher. Michael Aoyama, O.D., is a glaucoma-certified therapeutic optometrist at Stockdale Optometry. He is trained in the treatment and management of eye diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He also has a special interest in family vision, geriatric care, and the preoperative and postoperative care of refractive and cataract patients.

Dr. Aoyama, who also goes by Dr. A, has deep knowledge in specialty contact lens fitting, and he’s proud to make Stockdale Optometry a leading resource for patients in need of specialty contacts. His areas of expertise include high astigmatism, rigid gas permeable lenses, and multifocal lenses.

Born in Tokyo and raised in Berkeley, California, Dr. Aoyama attended the University of California, Irvine, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. After completing his undergraduate education, he attended New England College of Optometry in Boston. 

After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Aoyama was a resident in hospitals around the country, including Veterans Affairs hospitals in Fresno, California,  New York, and Boston Community Health Center. 

With experience in pediatric and geriatric eye care, Dr. Aoyama enjoys working with patients of all ages. When not practicing optometry, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors.

Optometrist Anna Lazarev  examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures as well as identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye. She completed pre-professional undergraduate education in a college and four years of professional education at SUNY College of Optometry in New York, NY, leading to the Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree. Her main focus is understanding his patients’ eye care needs and providing them with the most up-to-date treatment options available. Dr. Anna Lazarev is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient’s situation and aliment, and adapts her treatment options properly to accommodate individual needs and concerns. She gives her patients undivided, focused attention, thus she is able to deliver the best care and treatment available.

Dr. Janna Stepankoff has been delivering outstanding eye care services to the underserved communities of Brooklyn for over 15 years. She is a highly skilled, qualified and experienced optometrist who earned her optometric degree from the SUNY College of Optometry in New York, NY. She further advanced her education by completing additional training at Brooklyn VA Medical Center. Dr. Stepankoff is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.

Brian Chado, OD, provides an array of services to treat conditions like dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, and general eye diseases at the Maryland Vision Center location in Frederick, Maryland.

Dr. Chado received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in College Park before earning his Doctor of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed clinical rotations at Oklahoma Medical Eye Group in Tulsa, the Eye Care Center in Richmond, and the Eye Center in Memphis. Dr. Chado completed his residency in ocular disease at Baltimore VA Medical Center in Maryland.

In his free time, Dr. Chado enjoys being outdoors, traveling, hiking, and spending time with his wife. He is originally from Frederick and is excited to be providing eye care to the residents of his hometown!
