He has been extensively trained in the use of Ultrasound for both diagnostic and image guided use. Dr. Spiegel also provides hormone balancing, genetic testing, and neurodiagnostic studies.
Throughout his career, Dr. Spiegel’s dedication to the people in his care has earned him numerous professional and volunteerism honors including Top Doctor Survey awards and the State of Maryland Volunteer Service Award. Dr. Spiegel is also a key contributor in developing and growing the free clinic and treating the uninsured in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Dr. Spiegel has multiple certifications and Fellowships. He’s Fellowship-trained in sports medicine and board-certified in Physical Medicine for Rehabilitation. He’s also a fellow of the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Academy of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Board Certified in Anti-Aging, Functional and Regenerative Medicine. In addition to his Fellowships, Dr. Spiegel is a licensed medical acupuncturist.

Dr. Radahd joined the Pain Medicine Group after completing a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of South Florida and a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. She specializes in treatment of neck and low back pain through the use of interventional procedures and spinal cord stimulation. Dr Benny is a nationally recognized Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Physician. He is Board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine with fellowship training in Spine and Sports Medicine. He is also involved in the research side as well as continuing to publish papers in the field. He is involved in The North American Spine Society as part of the Rehabilitation, Intervention and Medical Spine (RIMs) Society as well as being faculty for the Advanced Spinal Workshop for many years; He is also involved in Committee’s in the Spine Intervention Society (SIS) and also involved in other societies like the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
He is Fellowship Director of the first North American Spine Society accredited fellowship in Houston in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He also continues to teach fellows at the Houston Methodist Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowships, and Residents at Memorial Hermann Family Medicine, University of Texas, Houston and at the Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Thakral is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Medicine physician who is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He is joining the team at the International Spine, Pain & Performance Center, and will be treating patients in both our Washington DC and Arlington Virginia locations.
Dr. Thakral was born and raised locally in northern Virginia. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where he then completed a General Surgery internship before moving to New Jersey for his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at Rutgers RWJMS - Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. During his final year of residency, Dr. Thakral was elected Academic Chief Resident. He completed an additional one year of training in an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute.
Dr. Thakral specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spine and musculoskeletal injuries. He is passionate about using a comprehensive approach in treating his patients' pain. In addition to utilizing conservative measures such as personalized exercise and therapy programs, Dr. Thakral performs a variety of fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures, including to the back, neck, joints, and soft tissues. He takes pride in his ability to listen and connect with patients, helping create individualized treatment plans to improve his patients' functional abilities and to get back to the activities they love.

Soon Jung, MD, is a pain management physician at SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, Langhorne, Chalfont, and Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania. He joined the team in 2021.
Dr. Jung is originally from the New York metro area. He graduated from the State University of New York Binghamton University before completing his medical education at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, in 2010.
He began his medical career as a neurosurgical resident at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. After completing multiple years of training, Dr. Jung realized that, unfortunately, many patients continued to have chronic pain despite surgery, and during his time there, he became exposed to chronic pain management under the tutelage of Dr. Andrew Kaufman.
After seeing the positive and life-changing impact of helping someone alleviate chronic pain, he decided to pursue a career in pain management. Therefore, he made a career move and began his anesthesia training at the Westchester Medical Center. Upon completing his residency, he began his pain management fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After completing his fellowship in 2016, he became an attending physician at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. While there, he was in charge of the neuromodulation program and the intrathecal pump program. With the use of intrathecal drug delivery, Dr. Jung was able to get patients off oral opioids while continuing to treat patients who required opioids in a safe, controlled manner that was physician-controlled.
He is double board-certified in anesthesia and pain management. Because of his neurosurgical background, he brings a unique skill set not found in most pain management physicians to SEPA Pain & Spine. He believes that every patient’s pain is unique and that treatment plans should be catered to the patient’s needs. He brings with him experience and knowledge in all areas of pain management, including medication management as well as minimally invasive procedures designed to treat chronic pain.
Dr. Jung now resides in the Blue Bell area and is married with three young children. He spends his free time combing the country for the newest and latest ways he can treat his patients. He feels blessed that he can truly say that for him, his work is his hobby.
